Choosing the Right Buzzer Makes All the Difference

Whether you’re designing medical equipment, building a smart home device, or specifying components for heavy industrial machinery, one thing almost every electronic system shares is the need for reliable audio feedback. That’s where Shogyo’s buzzer and piezo product lines come in.

We’ve been supplying piezoelectric and electromagnetic buzzer components to engineers and procurement teams around the world for decades. Our lineup spans everything from miniature SMD buzzers for compact wearables to robust, high-decibel transducers built for harsh industrial environments. Here’s a look at what we offer.

Audio Indicators

Our largest and most versatile product line. Available in piezo, magnetic, and solid-state technologies, with mounting options including PCB pins, screw terminals, quick-connect tabs, lead wires, and SMD — operating from as low as 1.5V up to 120V AC/DC. Sound output ranges from 70 dB up to 105 dB, with tone patterns including continuous, fast pulse, slow pulse, hi-low, and sweeping siren. If you need a self-contained, ready-to-install audio alert, this is your line.

Audio Transducers

For designs where your firmware drives the audio output directly. Transducers give engineers control over frequency, pulse pattern, and tone.  Ideal for medical devices, industrial safety equipment, and any application with specific or branded alert requirements.

Piezo Elements

Bare piezo discs for custom acoustic assemblies. Lightweight, low-cost, and highly adaptable. Used across consumer electronics, sensing applications, and OEM designs where the element is integrated directly into an enclosure or housing.

Piezo Sirens

When you need to be heard, these deliver. Our siren line puts out 105–110 dB at 100 cm with a sweeping siren tone. Built for security systems, fire and gas detection, industrial alarms, and any outdoor or high-noise environment where a standard buzzer won’t cut it.

The site also helps guide you to any documentation (RoHS, REACH, etc.) and resources (custom capabilities, order status) that you might require.

If you are searching for parts for a new product design, looking to reduce the costs on your current BOM, or simply want to read up on some of the latest shipping news… it can all be done here at www.shogyo.com!

We hope you enjoy the new site and of course, please feel free to contact us with any questions that you might have

New Legislation to Protect Maritime Supply Chain

New legislation is being introduced to potentially protect the importers, exporters, and OEMs that were held hostage by the debilitating labor slowdowns at the West Coast Ports earlier this year.

The introduction of the Comprehensive Transportation and Consumer Protection Act was prompted by contentious labor negotiations between the PMA and ILWU that significantly impacted the U.S. economy from November to May. Things got so bad that U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez was forced to get involved before an accord was reached.

This six-year bill would require the Department of Transportation to work with the appropriate authorities in establishing a program to submit reports to Congress on the performance at each of the nation’s key ports. These reports would be required before and after the expiration of labor contracts to help keep the public informed as to the impact of labor discussions on port operations.
